Our gentle formula uses botanical extracts to restore natural brilliance, removing unwanted deposits whilst cleansing and protecting your hair and scalp. The dual effects of aloe and lemon peel oil act together to:

deep cleanse hair by removing excess scalp oil (sebum) and toxic residue from the environment, preserving your hair’s integrity
strengthen and repair individual hair strands due to the natural effects of collagen, vitamins A, C, E which promote healthy cell regeneration and shiny hair, and vitamin B-12 and folic acid which prevent hair loss
promote hair growth by increasing scalp blood circulation, which reduces hair breakage and loss
combat an oily scalp by clearing up flaky, dry skin and naturally restoring pH balance

The Valentino Guide to Beautiful Hair

The current range was in research and development for three years to create a cleansing shampoo, balance conditioner and nourish treatment to optimise all hair types.

Compared with the manufacture of a requirement specific hair product, more complex processes are involved in the production of an all-hair type product. Where the goal is colour/heat protection, dryness or anti-frizz, the key ingredients are dictated by the dominant demand of the hair type. In the case of such targeted products, other critical requirements including cleansing and balancing the hair are neglected in favour of the single specified purpose.

To achieve our high standards, base ingredients, superior to those readily available on the market, were sourced and tested extensively in the Valentino Kensington salon. The excellent results produced in-house, and the popularity of the products, drove the range to market.

Valentino invites everyone to use our brush and wash regime to achieve healthy, natural hair with shine and vitality.

Ideal for all hair types, our brushes promote the health of both your scalp and hair by creating and maintaining an optimal environment for hair growth.

The smooth, rounded maple wood pins (or bristles) deliver a unique brushing experience, gently massaging your scalp with every stroke. The individual pins are carefully bevelled and positioned to massage and protect the hair follicles in your scalp. Sprung on natural, anti-static rubber, rather than tearing through the follicles like many popular brushes, our brushes glide gently across the scalp and neck.

Each one is made from a single piece of the finest quality sustainably sourced teak wood which is carefully selected for its aesthetic and therapeutic values. They are hand finished using a blend of natural oils formulated to withstand heat and moisture.

Beautiful hair begins with brushing your scalp, and ends with cleansing, balancing and nourishing the hair.

1. Brush with the Valentino Mind Brush

Sweep your Mind Brush from just above the eyebrow, across the scalp and down the back of the neck. Continue from one side of the head to the other and back again, taking time and care to massage every part of the scalp with the Mind Brush

2. Wash with the Valentino Cleansing Shampoo

After brushing with the Valentino Mind Brush, rinse hair thoroughly with warm water. Apply a small amount of shampoo in your hands and rub palms together before applying to the scalp. Rinse and repeat.

3. Apply the Valentino Balance Conditioner

Instant: To refresh hair, apply a small amount through mid-lengths and ends before rinsing.
Moisturising: To replenish natural moisture levels, apply a small amount through mid-lengths and ends. Comb hair and leave for 2-3 minutes before rinsing.
Deep conditioning: To restore dry or damaged hair, apply generously through mid-lengths and ends. Comb hair and leave for 15 minutes before rinsing.

4.Apply Our Nourishing treatment

To treat and restore weary hair, wash and towel dry the hair. Apply generously and comb through evenly. Leave for 5-15 minutes depending on requirements and rinse thoroughly.
